Wear Rings

The function of a Hydraulic Wear Ring or Guide Ring is to guide the piston and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder. At the same time, it prevents the piston from coming in contact with the cylinder bore - keeping it balanced, optimizing the performance of the sealing system and allowing it to perform with less friction.

Polyflex loaded u-cups used singly often replace conventional U-Shapes. The O-Ring projects above the lip to function as a spacer to provide lip clearance while springing the seal lips. No other mechanical spring loading devices or spacers are required.

Poly-Seals are interchangeable with many V-Packings, U-Packings, and O-Rings.
