T-Seals

T-Seals are usable in most standard o-ring grooves with built in backups to resist extrusion and twisting. The T-seal also meets or exceeds the O-ring's ability to seal against all pressures and temperatures by simply switching elastomeric materials and durometers.

T-seals advantage not only accommodates standard o-ring grooves, but also gives you the advantage of providing a static seal against the bottom of the groove and provides a positive radial actuation due to the backup rings eliminating the possibility of rolling and twisting in the grooves.

T-seals will also afford you the ability to seal at the lowest pressures as well as higher pressure applications, and the ability to fit in existing grooves without any re-machining or major revisions to existing design. This design simplifies field changes and installation on new equipment manufacturing.

Bergman Specialty can also provide special sizes in metric and nonstandard applications where cylinders have been revitalized and standard size seals will not fit. We offer all materials to fit your application.
